Courserum has partnered with online counselling service, CSCo, to offer counselling courses in a few US states.
Students can choose to attend classes on their own or take classes with a counsellor.
These courses are designed for students who have not taken a counselling course at a university, college or other educational institution.
It is important to note that these courses are not required for admission to any university, although some may be available.
Coursers courses are aimed at the CSCA (comparative studies) and CSCM (composite studies) programs.
CSCOs are currently offered in Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Utah.
Students will be given a certificate to use to show that they have the qualifications necessary to take a counselling course.
The CSCos are currently available in Georgia, Michigan, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas and Washington.
Students are able to register for these courses online and pay the course fee on-site, although many courses have additional costs.
Students in the US will be able to take the courses in April.
The courses are currently free to students with a $25,000 credit limit.
Courses offered in the United Kingdom will also be available on Cours.
This is in response to a UK government initiative that will allow students to pay for their course on-campus.
There is no word yet on whether or not the courses will be offered in other countries.
